Nagambie Group
Mineralisation control is difficult to ascertain in this group area due to paucity of rock exposures but is most certainly Epizonal and appears to be associated with quartz reefs close to the hinges of east-west trending anticlines cut by a series of predominantly north-south trending fault and shear fissures.
Disseminated mineralisation occurs in quartz stock works resulting in the potential for discovery of low grade gold-bearing oxide "Nagambie Style" pods which could aggregate into a significant gold target.
