Nagambie South Project
ELs 4817 and 4887
(Nagambie 100%)
Encouraged by the results from Nagambie North the company analysed a compilation of auger soils along roadside reserves, collected by the company during 2006 and 2007. 1388 samples were used to determine threshold values for Au, As and Sb, and sites colour coded according to anomalous levels for each element.
In addition data was extracted from Open file database. 214 samples were collected from 107 sites in 1990. The results of the analysis are shown below. Both soil programs involved sampling by auger below the soil horizon where gold and pathfinder elements concentrate (which is in the humic "A"-horizon) and neither program considered the very low levels that arsenic and antimony develop in this environment.
The company will conduct a sampling program similar to the successful program conducted at the North Nagambie Project.
